This tree bark texture spring die makes this texture on round stock. Heat the metal, insert in die and hammer while moving the rod through the die to continue to make the texture the length of the bar. For a different bark texture, turn the bar back and forth as you hammer it. For a grape vine do the same process then re-heat the textured bar and twist it. You would be buying the spring die, not the textured bar.

Depending on the size round stock you use and how you hammer the stock in the dies the back texture can be changed to look different ways. For vines, make the tree bark texture then twist the stock to give a more organic twisting look.
